Terms of service

DemandLark is free during early access. You own your data and your replies. We draft; you decide what to post and post it yourself.

Working draft, pending counsel review

This document describes how the software is built to behave and is published for transparency ahead of launch. It is not yet reviewed by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice. Anything you need in writing for procurement, email privacy@demandlark.com.

The agreement

These terms are between you and DemandLark. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

What the service is

DemandLark reads public Reddit posts through our own reader, uses AI to judge them against the product you describe, shows you the matches, and drafts replies with AI. It can send alerts to Slack or Discord, and it tracks upvotes and removal for replies you mark as posted.

DemandLark never posts to Reddit. It has no Reddit accounts, does not post or vote on your behalf, and publishes nothing. You decide whether to use a draft, and you post it yourself from your own account.

Early access and price

  • DemandLark is free during early access. There are no paid plans, and we do not ask for a payment card.
  • We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged unless you choose to pay.
  • Early access features, limits, and AI output can change while we build the product.

Your account

  • Your login is personal; do not share your credentials.
  • You are responsible for what you do with the service and for keeping your email address current.
  • We may suspend an account that is used to break these terms or the acceptable use policy; where we can, we tell you why first.

Ownership

You own your product description, your keyword lists, and the replies you write or edit. You give us permission to store and process that material only as needed to run the service. We own the software and the interface. Reddit posts belong to their authors and are shown to you as they appear publicly on Reddit.

Your replies are your responsibility

AI drafts can be wrong. You decide whether a reply is accurate, honest, and welcome in the community, and you are responsible for what you post and for following Reddit's rules and each community's rules. Drafts include a disclosure that you work on the product; keep it.

Availability

The service is provided as it is during early access, without a guaranteed uptime. It depends on public Reddit content and on our AI providers; if either is slow or unavailable, matches can be delayed or missing.

Liability

During early access the service is free and provided without warranties. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using DemandLark at any time, delete your workspaces in Settings, and ask us to close your account. We may end the agreement for a breach of these terms, or immediately for conduct that endangers other users or Reddit users. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you may have where you live. We will give notice of material changes, and continuing to use the service after that accepts them.
